# Research flights and stays

> Keep route, dates and market filters with each result, and distinguish a displayed option from a complete itinerary.

Travel results depend on route, dates, passengers, cabin, market and provider. A displayed flight price is a search snapshot. It is not a booking, a confirmed checkout quote or necessarily a complete outbound-and-return itinerary. Retain those inputs and inspect the actual segments before saying an option satisfies a preference.

That dated route was used in a September 2026 study. The contract calls `--max-stops 1` nonstop, yet the response included a connecting outbound choice and reported native `stops: 2`. The agent checked each outbound journey's segment count. The result displayed round-trip prices but did not include the return-flight segments, so it could not verify return time, airline or stops. Do not present a price-labeled outbound choice as a fully checked round trip. This filter mismatch is an interface defect; current prose cannot make the filter trustworthy.

Hotels and stays use other identities and filters. `google-hotels`, `booking` and `airbnb` each have separate search/read contracts; dates, party size and location meaning vary by operation. Inspect `web describe` for the selected source and keep its market and occupancy inputs alongside the returned listing. A listing URL or price snippet does not establish live availability or final taxes. `tripadvisor` and `google-maps` can provide venue context, while `flightradar24` concerns flight information rather than booking options.
